| Podcast #17 - September 2005 part 3 ::: podcast017.zip (70.3 MB) DESCRIPTION: Jake Cinninger switches from guitar to bass guitar while Ryan Stasik moves over to the Fender Rhodes on the opening track, In Violation of Yes, which originally appeared on Joel Cummins' 2002 solo album Common Sense. All Things Ninja, a concert rarity these days, ventures into some of the more dark and dissonant territory that UM can explore. Smell the Mitten is another in the arsenal of Spinal Tap references across the Umphrey's McGee catalog. The rare Sweetness inside of Divisions was a treat, while the Bridgeless jam that followed teased the fans (the band delivered said song the following evening).
